On Mondays some of us meet at the Castle Climbing Centre in the cafe at 7pm.

Shout on this thread if you are going.

Alas, another parents’ evening.

Hey folks, I’m having another go at getting us organised on a Monday night at the Castle. Seems we are often climbing there on a Monday evening but the Castle is so big, we often don’t meet until we’re finishing up! Who’s coming along tonight?

Shouting out to castle regulars @dabarlow, @hughmerritt, @joannekeogh22, @ChrisColebrook, @simon_hosking, @willboxall, @liebnitzky, @mhobby1979, @Manchi, @Tim_McD, @jrtomlins, @hollymoy1. If anyone is coming along, let us know here and lets meet in the cafe at 7:30pm ish. There’s also talk of a pub visit afterwards!

New comers (e.g. @Claudia) are welcome. I’ll be wearing my red NLMC t-shirt so should be easy to pick out from the crowd!

Great fun last night on the new comp wall set plus a little bit of leading to get our heads in gear for the new season.

Thanks for kicking off last night's NLMC Castle evening Khalid- really good fun! Even though NLMC climbers often go to the Castle on a Monday, it's easy to assume they're just doing there own thing- having more of an organised start time seemed to bring the group together.

Also, perhaps actually having a North London Mountaineering Club night in North London is less confusing for new members? I wonder if the Club's name attracts North London-based climbers, who are then put off by a Wednesday evening commute to Mile End. Maybe if we could get a Monday evening routine grooved, this could help?
