It’s with great pleasure that we are able to announce the date and venue for the club’s 70th anniversary celebrations next year!
We have decided to hold the celebration on Saturday the 4th July, exactly 70 years to the day that the club was formed way back in 1956.
Hopefully the Welsh weather gods will smile on us for a fabulous weekend of sunshine. Long days will make for tons of climbing and no doubt opportunity to lengthen the weekend to make a humdinger of an event.
The venue? We have opted for the wonderful Royal Victoria Hotel. They will be able to host us in their Dinorwig room. We plan to have an after dinner speaker and other events so watch this space!

We are provisionally limited to 100 people so make sure you sign up asap if you are definite. As we are limited on numbers for the dinner, only members and unfortunately no partners at this time. Many thanks in advance for your understanding.

The price for the meal plus room hire is £44 (£39 for vegetarians).

We have organised a bus for pick up to those staying at or near the cottage. A fee of £10 will be collected (contactless) from coach passengers on the night - please indicate on the spreadsheet if you will use the coach so we can ensure sufficient capacity
On accommodation we have the cottage and barn for the weekend although spaces going fast!
There is also a reduction on rooms at the Royal Victoria UNTIL 5th APRIL. Contact them for rates and be sure to mention the NLMC if you book.

Before I express an interest on the spreadsheet in the coach - is it safe to assume that all those who have currently indicated they want to stay in the cottage/barn are able to do so?
Hey Martin, I noticed I may have been moved onto the waiting list, even though there seem to be a few empty rows above. Just wanted to check if the total number of spots is below 100? Would you prefer that I wait until closer to the 30th April deadline in case any more spaces free up or is it okay to go ahead and sort payment for food and accommodation now?
