I am transporting a load of food so somewhat committed now!
It’s only Wednesday, so it could all change. From WeatherPro:
- Friday: 8 hours sun, 45% chance of 1.0 mm rain.
- Saturday: 4 hours sun, 95% chance of 5.4 mm rain.
- Sunday: 7 hours sun, 15% chance of 0.1 mm rain.
Plenty of hope, and if not, the Beacon climbing wall is great.

Taking a big group of climbers round Snakes and Ladders would be a great way of screwing access to the quarries
Sorry @HollyP and @Max_A, I need to pull out of this trip as I have injured my back and several things have now become extremely uncomfortable/painful.
I’m happy to contribute if costs have already been incurred.

I’m also going to pass - though not without a deal of FOMO, there will be climbing on the weekend given the forecast, and it should be a great party.
Lottie was in my car, leaving tomorrow am, and Sally could no longer make it so was probably a job to do to resort the lifts. Could you help find her a lift please? And soz for any hassles.
Final thought to any potential waiverers - please make a call in good time so we don’t overbuy and waste food.

As the main food buyer I’ll second and re-emphasise Max’s End comment there. I plan a supermarket trip first thing Fri morning and would be keen to avoid carting an unwanted mountain of chicken, sausages, bread and apples to Capel Curig !
