And we’ve just passed yesterday’s tire (or what’s left of it, anyways)…
Wow, what a great weekend! Thank you all for such a wonderful time! Lovely to meet lots of new people, too. Hope you all got back ok
Awesome pic, thank you. Mid-multiple-pitch-picnics is dope, innit!
What a fantastic weekend, still buzzing Thanks to all the chefs for the delicious meals, thanks to the leaders for helping our new members learn, and thanks to everyone for all the fun times. Can’t wait to see you all again soon!
Lost property found this morning after the weekend.
At the barn, a sleeping bag, hoodie and USB charger.
At the cottage, gym kit on the drying rack.
Let me know if it’s yours and we can arrange for you to be reunited with it.
A search for ticks revealed half a dozen on my legs. Chance of disease is low. But particularly if, like me, you walked through dense ferns in shorts, you may also wish to have a search.
Thanks to everyone for sharing their time/equipment/knowledge, really enjoyable weekend and didn’t even need a waterproof.
A few photos below and in the link attached for those I climbed with!
Anyone fancy doing a New Members Meet report for the next newsletter?
If so, can I use some of these photos @tomhardie?
Copy to me end of next week, ideally…
P.
Happy for anyone to use the photos!
If you’re not going to use them straight away, best download them as I have a dropbox clearout every ~month or so!
New Members - don’t forget to sign up now for membership! The fee covers the hut fees for the weekend too.

I can throw something together.
Yes please!
Thanks for organising what turned out to be yet another great club trip to North Wales.
Some of my highlights include an initiation to Idwal slabs multi-pitch, watching a dramatic whipper and falling off the same spot an hour later, nippy swim in llyn Idwal lake with @TomM and Iarla, awesome dinner at the barn, watching @khalidqasrawi climb in Crocs ;-), @katy_c leading her first trad pitches, and plenty more.
If it was a multiplier I would be impressed.
