Glad to see no one’s questioned North>South!

We’re still reeling from the idea…

Forecast significantly improved for those still on the fence.

~15% chance of rain on Saturday, 30-40% on Sunday, and 20% by the afternoon.

On the bunkhouse situation, they seemed a bit pissed off about the idea or not block booking the whole thing any more. If 12 of us go (as per the minimum on the spreadsheet I think) it works out as £16 a nightish (minus deposit already paid). Those not coming forfeit the deposit money they’ve already paid.

Not block booking costs £15 per person per night. I say for the sake of £2 each we keep our booking and don’t piss them off/mess them around.

Any issues or if you’ve signed up to go despite forecast and are having second thoughts please say now!

I will confirm with bunkhouse tomorrow and sort lifts.

Guy

Tim and I are happy to pay our original contribution even if we don’t go, in case that helps Guy.

Thanks for looking in to that, Guy! I agree, for the sake of £2, and to save us all trying to individually book, im happy to keep the booking.

The only issue for me is getting there. Do we know what the car sitch is? Only because the train to Hathersage is painfully expensive…

Thanks Guy, happy to pay £16. Does that include the Thursday night too?

So those going up Thursday is £15 per person as that’s the standard per person rate.

I will sort lifts tomorrow. I’m hoping we have enough spaces!

The only difficulty may be if Tom H is going up Thursday with his spacious car with no people in it… I will check tho.

Guy

@tomhardie if I give you my mats that would free up two spaces in my car

I think myself, Sarah and Robin might be in Tom’s car…?

Yes I see that.

Ok, on the second tab of the spreadsheet I think I have allocated lifts. There is a slight issue in that we are one person over. I’ve currently solved that by not taking my bouldering mats which is less than ideal (but given the forecast…). @tomhardie would you have space for two more mats going up on Thursday?

Basically we’re split between me, Tom H and Peter

Drivers - arrange departure times/locations with passengers.

My car leaving the castle at 6pm on Friday

Yeah - I can take two extra bouldering mats. There will definitely be a way to tetris them in.

@guyarnold I should be around later tonight (but might not be until 9/10pm), or I can do Thursday night as we’re leaving, probably around 6 or 7?

@Sarah_Rae @MattGee @Robin - what times work for you three? I can probably leave any time from 6/6.30ish from Haringey national rail station (2 mins on the train from Finsbury P). Not too worried about traffic - it’s been pretty tame with half term week - otherwise would leave it until at least 7!

Hi Tom,

I am working from home tomorrow so can easily get to anywhere between the Castle and Haringey by 6ish
Cheers
Matt

Later tonight is fine Tom - that’s great.

I will have 3 pads in my car for the Saturday and one is massive.

Hey Tom, any time after 6 is good for me

Bril, thanks for organising Guy. Saw my name twice on the lifts tab, will def need a lift so just removed my name from the left to avoid any confusion, hope that’s okay.

Cheers,

Ok great. Looks like we’ve all got lifts!

Phew.

Guy

And how would people feel about curry in Hathersage on Friday?
