NLMC AGM weekend 15th - 16th November

Hi there everyone.

Possibly a bit early notice but announcing for sign up this years AGM.

This year we are in North Wales at the club hut! Hooray! :grin:

There is climbing on the saturday, follow by an evening meal at the Tyn y Coed on the 15th. We have a nice room to ourselves but numbers are limited to 30 people.

We are also lucky enough to have a number of our founding members joining us, reserved already on the sign up list. And me and Matt G…not founding members! :joy:

Then the AGM proper on the sunday morning, hopefully resolved efficiently for more climbing in the afternoon.

So if you would like to come and hear a bit more about the club, upcoming topics, make suggestions etc please sign up.

Oh and please also make selections for food.

Hi Martin,
Do you have any info on how we pay for the meal? is it bank transfer to club account or is it done by the go cardless payment system these days?
I think it was cheque in the post last time I came to dinner meet LOL!

Hi folks,

Just reiterating the announcement I have made via email this morning.

Please be informed that the club’s 2025 AGM will be held at approximately 10:00am on Sunday 16th November at the club’s Bryn Brethynau Barn in north Wales.

The agenda will include Nominations for next year’s Committee and annual reports from the President, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, Barn Secretary and Hut Warden.

Please send any Nominations or Motions you wish to raise for discussion at the AGM to the Secretary no later than 2nd November - sec@nlmc.co.uk or PM me on the Chat Forum (I will be in Turkey by then so may be slow to reply…!). Please confine this to proposals that will affect the constitution or running of the club or form a significant item for discussion at the AGM. Minor suggestions can be emailed to the appropriate Committee Member - The Committee - North London Mountaineering Club

The AGM is fast approaching. Time bag a car spot if you havent already!
