I am sorry to report the death of George Wilson on 5/4/26. He was the hut warden for many years and made great improvements to the cottage and barn. His funeral is at 2:15pm on Wednesday 6rh May at Hereford Crematorium.
I’m really sorry to hear this David - I spent a few weeks working alongside George when I was his assistant and he was certainly a grafter when it came to the club properties.
He always stopped to meditate at lunchtime and encouraged me to do the same, to no avail at that time.

Pete Wilson told us last week. Very sad, he did a lot for the club.
I saw this on facebook a few days ago and replied to Peter. It is a long time since we met but I still remember the good times in the hut with George.
Sadness to hear of George departure. A good guy who did wonderful work and on the Barn and Cottage. A good talker and arguer..
