I turned up last Monday to climb with Ian - but we were also approached by a couple of bemused fellas who were looking for the ‘climbing club’. I think there were about 6 of us club noobs in total.

My friend, Chris, and I are keen to meet some NLMC members at the Castle on Monday nights. We are both in our 20s and will be leading in the café area this evening. I will be wearing bright orange trousers and a blue jacket. Other than a blue fleece North Face jumper (thank for the heads up, Llon!), what other colours should we look out for?

Hi Emma, do join us, there should be a few of us there by 7 on Monday including me. We will likely be either in the upstairs lead area or the Wells 1&2, might be a few red club t-shirts/vests being worn.

I was wondering if I can just show up, even though I haven’t given much notice.
I’ve done both courses belaying and lead, and currently working on top rope 6b and 5c lead climb.
I’d like to meet NLMC members, and hope to become new member of the club.

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I’ve just had a positive lateral flow test and I think I could have been infectious yesterday. I recommend everyone who was there yesterday do some tests!

If anyone interested as of Thursday back at the castle new routes have been added/reset upstairs on lead climb and auto-belay, also crack climb is now working downstairs in the wells
