**Rock routes**
This is the local campsite crag, it’s OK

> **[Feechi](https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/feechi-4021/#maps)**
>
> Often well protected from the rain, climbs can remain dry here even during light showers due to the overhanging roof.

_Alpendurst_ on the Jegihorn is an easy and well bolted multipitch
[https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/jegihorn-4023/alpendurst-71210](https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/jegihorn-4023/alpendurst-71210)
There’s two other slightly harder routes there which I’ve not done and which I’d happily go for with anyone. There also seems to be a small crag the other way from the ski lift station

> **[Klettergarten Laggin](https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/klettergarten_laggin-23539/#maps)**

There’s also this crag which I only just noticed, it looks a bit of a drive mind, 40 minutes to the ski lift.

> **[Seetalhorn](https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/seetalhorn-28093/#overview)**
>
> Predominantly single-pitch\* routes of high quality on off-vertical gneiss in a stunning location under the summit of the Seetalhorn. Don't let the 852m height gain up a ski piste put you off!...

**Mountains**
The normal routes on the following mountains get low grades:
**Alphubel** - East Flank, PD-, but does involve extensive glacier travel
**Allalinhorn** - WNW Ridge, F+, but does involve extensive glacier travel
**Lagginhorn** - WSW Ridge, PD, minimal glacier travel under drier conditions
**Weissmies** - SSE Ridge, PD, descent via WNW Flank is glaciated
Hope this helps.

@Rufus_Lawrence - As requested, here are some of the topos etc. that I found:

Climbing:

[climbing - Weissmieshütte](https://weissmieshuette.ch/en/activities/climbing/) (Jegihorn topo)
[Climbing crag – Almagellerhütte SAC](https://almagellerhuette.ch/en/klettergarten/) (Dri Hornli)
[https://weissmieshuette.ch/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/topo-klettergarten\_laggin.pdf](https://weissmieshuette.ch/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/topo-klettergarten_laggin.pdf) (Laggin Kletter)
NB can’t find Feechi topo but found this German blogpost with a photo of the topo sign:
[Sportklettern im Saastal – allgaeu-plaisir.de](https://www-allgaeu--plaisir-de.translate.goog/sportklettern-bei-saas-fee/?_x_tr_sch=http&_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp)

Alpine routes:

These UKC features from Ben Tibbets are a bit old, but have useful topos and detailed route descriptions (It looks like it might be too early in the season for the Lenzspitze-Nadelhorn traverse):

Summitpost has a lot of useful route descriptions and some topos – Mischabel group link here: [Mischabel GROUP : Climbing, Hiking & Mountaineering : SummitPost](https://www.summitpost.org/mischabel-group/391677)

Hut websites also sometimes have topos and route descriptions.

Swiss government maps are also really useful:

> **[Swiss Geoportal](https://map.geo.admin.ch/?lang=en&topic=ech&bgLayer=ch.swisstopo.pixelkarte-farbe&layers=ch.swisstopo.zeitreihen,ch.bfs.gebaeude_wohnungs_register,ch.bav.haltestellen-oev,ch.swisstopo.swisstlm3d-wanderwege,ch.astra.wanderland-sperrungen_umleitungen&layers_opacity=1,1,1,0.8,0.8&layers_visibility=false,false,false,false,false&layers_timestamp=18641231,,,,&E=2645715.96&N=1113184.98&zoom=3.7547385717792956)**

Hope this is of use!

Zur Kapelle is on the path from Saas Grund up to Saas Free which starts at one end of the campsite, so yes, very close.
Feechi is around the corner from the campsite.

I suspected that the crag and campsite would be close together as both locations mention a chapel 🕵️‍♂️. Thanks for confirming my hypothesis.
