Hostelry - for Cider and generic weirdness the Square and Compass in Worth Matravers is hard to beat. I’m not very familiar with the pubs in Swanage itself but can unhesitatingly recommend the Scott Arms in Kingston, especially in the garden on a sunny day with the Jerk Shack running and options on very good local ice cream. Their normal food is also very good.
I’m in London this weekend or else I would pop over and join you. Would anyone have interest in a September rematch for the dws…?
