Christmas Curry - 13 December

It is nearly time once again for that gentlest and jolliest of NLMC meets, the annual Christmas Curry, when we gather to sink pints rather than gear and crush dosas rather than routes. We are booked into Chutneys at 124 Drummond Street (a stone’s throw from Euston) for 7:30 on Wednesday, 13 December - kindly use the link below to update the Doodle sheet to say if you and your guests can make it - looking forward to seeing everyone there!

I’d like to come to the Xmas curry

I won’t be able to make it - things are too crazy in my new role to take the time to come back to London - Christmas is a big deal for buses, apparently customers want to know the times

If you’re stuck for a christmas present though - there are still lots of calendars to buy!! Spread the word and let me know if you want one. I can post it to you

Just a reminder the Christmas Curry is tomorrow, Wednesday, at Chutneys for 7:30. Key logistics are it is BYOB (there is an off license right across the street), and I think £15 per person will cover the meal and service, so if everyone could bring cash that will likely make settling up a lot easier. They were going to do a set menu for us, which sounds like it will be a quite a variety of tasty stuff, so just direct message me if anyone has any violent objections to that (the place is vegetarian in any case). For pre-curry pints, let’s all meet at the Bree Louise (69 Cobourg Street) - I will be there from about 6 pm. Links to the addresses below. Finally, if you haven’t RSVP’d but can make it, please shoot me a message so I can expand the booking - looks like we should have a solid crew. Thanks and see everyone tomorrow!

Great job on the organising @dadler. Thanks so much. A gigantic improvement on Brick Lane. I can’t say that I missed the meat or being ritually abused by the staff. Because we all had set menu (great call) the usual bill paying shenanigans seemed pretty smooth too. The Bree Louise is awesome, especially for the stout lovers. I think we’ll be going back next year unless HS2 gets there first!

Echoing @khalidqasrawi 's comments - and great to meet lots of more of you
